Today I have a Video Tutorial to share with you .. I love to create stamped projects with Watercolor Paper and my samples today feature a watercolor wash background with stamping over them.

As I explained in my video, my dad, Jim Burns, is an amazing Watercolor artist and although I inhereted his love of color, texture, nature, composition, etc., I cannot draw or paint freehand to save my life, so, I USE STAMPS! 🙂

Patty and dad 2012Yep, that's my dad!  He is a mega-talented watercolor artist! He has been painting since he was a child!  We are so blessed to have dozens of his paintings hanging in our home, and we love being able to enjoy his amazing talents!

Watch my video below for instructions on a fun and easy technique you can create using Watercolor Paper, ink pads and a clear acrylic block!

Thanks dad for your inspiration and sharing your talent with the world! You are amazing!  Happy Early Father's Day.. I love you!

These are the cards featured on my video.. each one is done with a watercolor wash background and stamped in black ink when the wash is dry.
