Check out this cute Ride with Me Fun Fold card I made for Eric’s birthday!!!
Fun Tip for the Truck!
I had this idea in my head for weeks and finally tried it out… I used a straight edge, my Stampin’ Write markers and Stampin’ Blends Soft Suede marker to draw wood rails for the back of the truck bed!!!
What do you think!? I think it turned out pretty amazing!!
I stamped all of the Ride with Me images in Memento Black ink and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends markers. All of the colors are listed in the product photos at the bottom of this post. Click any photo to shop in my online store.

I love that this fun fold card folds flat to mail!
Another cute alteration I made for this card was to cut out the window area and put a piece of window sheet behind it. I love how it looks like a real glass window!

I stamped 2 balloon bunches and colored and die cut them, and then also stamped a 3rd bunch and fussy cut 3 of the balloons to add to the bunch! Wink of Stella adds a perfect shimmery touch to the balloons!
The base card and Nested label die are thick Whisper White cardstock. The 2nd layer of cardstock is Coastal Cabana, and the designer paper is from the Follow Your Art pack #149489.
As I mentioned in THIS POST, we pretty much celebrated for a whole week for Eric’s birthday. One of the fun things we did was go to the Oakland A’s game for fireworks night! It was Pixar fireworks night, and the A’s’ won, so that was a fun bonus! Jason caught a ball that night and we gave it to the little boy sitting next to us. He was 4 years old… the same age Jason was when Jason got his first foul ball at an A’s game… it was pretty sweet to see how excited the little boy was!

I have enjoyed sharing card ideas for the Band Together stamp set with you this week. I hope you’ve enjoyed all 3 flower cards colored with the Stampin’ blends markers. This Celebrate card features Poppy Parade and Mango Melody which pair nicely with the Basic Gray script background paper.
I stamped the floral image from the Band Together stamp set using Memento Black ink on Thick Whisper White cardstock and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends markers shown below. You can purchase any of these paper crafting supplies by clicking on any of the product photos at the bottom of this blog post. The celebrate greeting is found in the Band Together set and I’ve stamped it in Poppy Parade ink onto a die cut from the Perfect Parcels dies.
The Thick Whisper White card base is a top fold card measuring 4-1/4″ x 11″ and I cut a 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Basic Gray script background paper to adhere to the base card. Rather than fussy cutting the flower image as I did in the card ideas I shared the last 2 days, I just left this flower image on the piece of Thick Whisper White and layered it onto the script background from the Neutrals 6×6 paper stack.
Swatching my Stampin’ Blends colors on my grid paper before I start coloring is something I find super helpful. It allows me to see the true colors and how they might work with each other. Do you do that too?

I am glad you enjoyed the “Band Together” flower card I posted yesterday here. Today I have another pretty floral card colored with the Stampin’ Blends markers, but all in tones of blue, and I’ve also used the new Eyelet Lace embossing folder!
I combined Night of Navy, Seaside Spray and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends markers on this card, plus Old Olive for the stems. After stamping and coloring the Band Together flower, I fussy cut it with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Since I didn’t have any blue ribbon to match, I colored some of the Silver metallic edge white satin ribbon with my Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends marker!! See below…
The Eyelet Lace embossing folder was just the perfect touch of texture and fun for this card!! I matted it with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock, then layered that onto a piece of Seaside Spray script pattern paper from the 2019 2021 In Color 6×6 paper stack. I debated on the color for the folded base card… Seaside Spray, Whisper White and Night of Navy all would have worked. So I ended up using Night of Navy.. what do you think?
For the Friend greeting, I used my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write marker on the stamp from my Rare Blessings stamp set to omit the other words on the stamp. I stamped it on a die cut oval from the Stitched Shape dies and layered it onto a Night of Navy scalloped oval from the Layering Oval dies. Win-Win! I love flowers and I love to color… so this Band Together stamp set is the perfect floral image to color with Stampin’ Blends markers!
The lovely Band Together stamp set is found on page 121 and is part of a bundle, but I only used the stamp set on my card today. #149231.
Oh, and another WIN … I love to fussy cut so I stamped the flower image in Memento black ink on Thick Whisper White cardstock and colored it with my Stampin’ Blends markers, then fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips!
When I get ready to color a stamped image with my Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, I like to “swatch them” onto my grid paper first. I get a feel for how the colors will look in combination with each other before I start to color. In this case (photo above).. I thought I’d like the Flirty Flamingo on this card but I didn’t end up using it.
I used the Lovely Lipstick Combo pack #147281, Mango Melody combo pack #147945, Granny Apple green combo pack #147274 and the light Daffodil Delight blend #144586.
The base card is a 4-1/4″ x 11″ Thick Whisper White cardstock base folded in 1/2, and then I added a 4-1/4″ square piece of Mango Melody script background paper from the Brights Collection 6×6 designer paper pack #149613. I added some Crushed Curry Seam Binding Ribbon #149444. I also stamped the greeting from the Very Versailles stamp set #149275 in Lovely Lipstick ink. The floral image is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Inspiring Iris stamp set was one of my top 5 favorite picks from the new 2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I made a set of note cards with this set, by stamping the Iris onto the Tags & More Accessory kit tags and adding some designer paper and simple stamped greetings.
I took my color inspiration for these cards from the Tags & More accessory kit tags. I added 3″x5″ pieces of Designer Paper to the Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White Note cards, and then added one of the tags stamped with the Inspiring Iris stamp. I added a greeting, and voila, pretty simple set of note cards!

Make the Sunflower:
I stamped 3 of the Medium Daisies in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Mango Melody cardstock, and punched them with the Medium Daisy Punch #149517. For the flower center, I punched out a scalloped circle with the 1-1/8″ scalloped circle punch #146138 in Early Espresso cardstock, sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink and then stamped an image from the Varied Vases set in Early Espresso ink (see photos below).
Below: this is the image from Varied Vases that I used in the center of the sunflower for some texture.
The leaves behind the sunflower are stamped and die cut from the Wild Rose bundle, stamped in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. Speaking of Stampin’ Blends.. the truck and pumpkins are stamped in Memento black ink as well, and colored with the Stampin’ Blends markers shown below. All of them are listed in the product list at the bottom of this blog post and may be purchased in my Stampin’ Up! store here. The woodgrain background paper is found in the Pressed Petals designer paper pack #149500 and it’s mounted onto a folded Pumpkin Pie card base.
