As we celebrate the 4th of July in the USA, I thought these red, white and blue daisies would be a fun idea to share with you!!! I used the new Medium Daisy Punch #149517, some beautiful Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Foil and some Real Red patterned paper.
If you participated in my Paper Share, you have a sample of this gorgeous Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Specialty Designer paper #149493. I added a layer to my Thick Whisper White folded card base.
I decided to “bling up” my daisy cards with some Clear Faceted Gems #144142 and Noble Peacock Rhinestones #149494.
The sentiments are stamped on die cut Whisper White Stitched Nested Label dies with Real Red ink. They are from the Daisy Lane bundle and the Beautiful Friendship set.
After I made these Red, White and Blue daisy cards, I decided to add some bright Granny Apple Green leaves. I love the pop of color!!!
You can shop online HERE for any of these Stampin’ Up! products, or click any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.
To create the Granny Apple Green leaves, I stamped the leaf image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink onto Granny Apple Green cardstock, then used the Leaf Punch to punch them out!
I used the Medium Daisy Punch – part of a money-saving 10% off bundle with the Daisy Lane stamp set – stamped in Real Red ink onto the Real Red designer paper from the Brights 6×6 Designer Paper Stack, #149613.
When curling the petals with my Bone Folder on the red designer paper flowers, I accidentally ripped a couple petals (easily glued back on though), so my tip is that if you are stamping the daisy onto white cardstock, use the ThickWhisper White cardstock so that when you curl the petals, they don’t rip. 🙂
My final fun design tip for you is to try out the lovely scalloped edge die from the Magnolia Memory die set, find it on page 194, or #149578 in my online store!! So pretty! OH and a BONUS.. the little white flower centers are from the Magnolia Memory die set, too!
If you were a part of my Annual Catalog Paper Share, then you have samples of this AMAZING Noble Peacock Foil Specialty paper!! If you do not already have a pack of this amazing paper, you’ll want to get a pack soon!! Find it on pages 26 and 167, #149493 online. I have a Birthday Card Idea to share with you today, we made it at Kurstan’s Stampin’ Bingo event earlier this month.
Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Foil Paper is available HERE in my online store!
This birthday card is easily created with any of the 3 foil patterns in the Noble Peacock Designer paper pack. We used Blueberry Bushel cardstock and the blue foil pattern. There is also a strip of the plain Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock foil right down the center of this card.
The cute birthday cheer greeting is from the Parcels & Petals stamp set #149317, and flowers are found in the Delightful Day stamp set #149466. Stamp them onto a 2″ Whisper White circle, and layer it onto a vellum Starburst punch shape. Simple White Baker’s Twine finishes off this birthday card.
Terracotta Tile is one of the new Stampin’ UP! In Colors for 2019-2021, and I used the ink, the 6×6 paper stack, the Faceted Dots and the Scalloped Note Card on my cute Daisy Punch card today!
2019-2021 In Colors:
If you are not familiar with the 5 new In Colors yet, find them HERE.
I used the “A Little Lace” stamp set (pg 42, #149364) in Memento Black ink and stamped the large image onto the Terracotta Tile Gingham paper, and onto the die cut piece from the Wild Rose dies #149547, then lined them up on the Scalloped Note Card. Punch 2 Medium Daisies (Medium Daisy Punch #149517), in the Terracotta Tile script pattern from the 6×6 In Color Stack #149617, and add the Terracotta Tile Faceted Gems to the 2 flower centers.
I Really REALLY love the Scalloped Note Cards. The color selection is great and they are just the right starting point for great Note Cards! Find them on page 168 in your 2019 2020 Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog, or #149610 online here.
The finishing touch is a small 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of the script Terracotta Tile patterned paper on the inside of the note card.
I Love Love Love this Pressed Petals floral card we made at Kurstan’s Bingo event last weekend!! It’s sooo pretty!! The Pressed Petals paper can be found on page 74 or page 167 in the new Annual Catalog or HERE online.
This fun card layout is like the Bird Ballad cards I posted HERE. We used the Floral Essence stamp set and matching Perennial Flower punch for the focal point. After stamping the flower image we used the Blender Pen to pull some of the color toward the tip of each petal. See graphic below.
View the entire Pressed Petals Suite of papercrafting products on pages 72 to 74, or HERE in my online Stampin’ UP! store.
The tip to making this card so easy is to use the 2 punches shown above: the Perennial Flower punch and the Leaf Punch. Kurstan was so clever, she used the green music note paper pattern in the Pressed Petals designer paper pack for the leaves!!!! What a great idea!
Use the Blender Pen to pull ink from the stamped image from the flower center toward the tips of each petal.
I LOVE this design tip: Use a strip of the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon as an accent on the card, and cover 1/2 of it with the Hello greeting sentiment stamped on Whisper White!
Find the Pressed Petals designer paper on page 74 or 167 or online #149500

Have you ever been to a Stampin’ Bingo event? We had so much fun playing bingo and creating 5 stamping projects!! Check out Kurstan’s future events HERE.
How much fun is the new Dinoroar Suite from from Stampin’ Up!? Find it HERE online or pages 98 to 100 in the catalog. Today I created 2 cards featuring the Dinoroar designer paper – they are masculine note cards and they are actually Father’s Day cards for my hubby and my dad!!
Instead of using the dinosaur images in the Dino Days stamp set, I used the palm tree image and the tropical leaves paper pattern, paired with the “A Big Thank You” stamp set for the sentiments.
Each card has a stamped tag for the focal point. I cut a 2″ wide strip of Whisper White cardstock and punched the top with the new Delightful Tag Topper punch. I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. The greetings are stamped in Pretty Peacock ink, and to tie in that new In Color, I added In Color Faceted Dots in Pretty Peacock, as well as a strip of Pretty Peacock designer paper on the left side of the Scalloped Note Card.
I love the new Scalloped Note cards! Find them on page 168 in the new catalog, or #149610 online.
All of these Stampin’ Up! products are available in my online store, or by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.
I tied a piece of Pretty Peackock ribbon onto the top of this tag, and used Mossy Meadow twine on the other tag, from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo pack #149485.
Color.. it’s all about color when you are crafting or creating any kind of art… and the gorgeous 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up! In Colors are featured in the beautiful Woven Threads designer paper and my handmade card idea today!
I wasn’t sure what leaves I wanted to add to this card with my Floral Essence flower. So, I decided to fussy cut some leaves from the Magnolia Lane designer paper with my Paper Snips. I stamped the flower from the Floral Essence stamp set in Rococo Rose onto the Rococo Rose patterned paper from the Woven Threads designer paper pack. The center is an In Color faceted gem.. and guess what.. I used my Wink of Stella to give it a little glitter!! 🙂
Above are 3 In colors I used on this project, Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Terracotta Tile. I also used Mossy Meadow by cutting out the leaves and adding them to the card. While I was sponging some Rococo Rose onto the flower, I decided to go ahead and label my sponge daubers for the 5 new In Colors (see them here) with my Brother P-touch labeler. (I have the wireless version.. I love it!)
This paper pattern might look familiar .. I also featured it in one of my Woven Threads / Heirloom Frames cards HERE a few days ago!
I used 3 of the patterns from the Woven Threads designer paper pack on this card plus 2 ribbons (Lace and Terracotta Tile ribbon) and a stamped die cut piece from the Perfect Parcels die set. Lots of new products, some fun layers and texture, and an unexpected color combo!
