First day to order from the 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up! Catalog: TUESDAY, June 4, 2019 (approx. noon MT)
If you are one of my customers, you should have received your NEW catalog from me already. I find it helpful to go through them both, side by side to check out all of the products that are changing, retiring, being repackaged, or changing in price.
It’s Sneak Peek Sunday!! The weeks are flying by and we are checking out one BRAND NEW Stampin’ UP! product each week until the new 2019 2020 Annual Catalog goes live on June 4th!! Whohoooo!! Today we are taking a peek at the Floral Essence Bundle – one of my VERY favorite new items in the new catalog!
I thought I’d try a bit of a different design today – I stamped the outline flower image 3 times and only colored one image. I used Stampin’ Blends markers for coloring, after stamping the outline images in Memento Black ink on Thick Whisper White cardstock. I used the light and dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends, the light Petal Pink and the light Mint Macaron.
The 2 focal points are the colored flower image, AND the double circle image stamped with the greeting and layered with the punched leaves behind the circle. I stamped the leaves in Mint Macaron ink on Whisper White and punched them out with the Leaf Punch. The greeting is stamped in the new Terracotta Tile ink, and the white circle is also matted with Terracotta Tile cardstock (die cut from the Layering Circles dies).
You will find this great new Floral Essence stamp set and bundle on page 107 in your new catalog or #151055 in my online Stampin’ Up! store. It is available beginning 6/4/19. The Leaf Punch is already available, #144667.
I finished this top fold card off with 3 Basic Adhesive-backed sequins and some new 1/4″ Mint Macaron Textile ribbon.
I wanted to fill you in and let you know how these new product announcements might affect product availability, your future purchases and your crafting experience!
A new Die Cutting system from Stampin’ Up! will be replacing the current Big Shot. This is exciting news, as it means that Stampin’ Up! will be working directly with the manufacturer to bring all of us a new die cutting / embossing machine and that we will have more direct control over the design AND availability of products!!
A new paper cutter from Stampin’ Up! will be replacing the current Stampin’ Trimmer.
How will it affect you?
There will be a gap in time between when the Big Shot and the Stampin’ Trimmer retire with this current catalog (or sell out) until the time when the new products are available (we don’t know exactly how long this will be, but there will NOT be a Big Shot or a paper trimmer in the new 2019-2020 catalog in June)
If you need to stock up on some Stampin’ Trimmer supplies, do that soon. They have ordered what they hope to be a 6 month supply of trimmer blades, but they could go quickly. (Links below)
Continue to use your Big Shot or other die cutting machine with all Stampin’ UP! embossing folders and dies
Watch for a new style of dies and embossing folders in the new 2019-2020 catalog!! Continue to use them with your current die cutting machine.
Dies, embossing folders and trimmer accessory items COULD sell out quickly, so shop early and don’t wait for the retiring list on Monday, April 15 to place your order if you have had your eye on any of the current dies or folders!
