The Stampin’ UP! Come Sail Away Suite is amazing! Find it on pages 144-146 in your new Stampin’ UP! catalog or HERE online. I created a sailboat card for you today using the elements in this suite.
I stamped the sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set on Whisper White in Night of Navy ink, then used my Stampin’ Blends markers to give it a hint of color before die cutting it with the Smooth Sailing dies. The anchor was stamped with Soft Suede ink and I added some Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends marker to it to give it more dimension before die cutting it.
The “set sail..” sentiment in this set makes a great greeting card for many occasions, including graduation, don’t you think? I stamped it in Terracotta Tile ink (a new 2019 2021 In Color) to give a pop of color to this card.
Stampin’ UP! offers an awesome suite of products perfect for the car enthusiast or for guys, Father’s Day, graduation, etc., and it’s called the Classic Garage suite! You’ll currently find the Classic Garage Suite on page 43 in the 2019 Occasions catalog, but some of these products will also be in the new 2019 2020 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog!
This decorated mini Pizza Box project is PERFECT for a gift card or small gift for dads, grads, or grandpa’s! I just love this special touch of die cutting the gears out of Black Foil!! Be sure to put your Adhesive Sheet on the back of the black foil first, then die cut, for easy application onto your project.
The mini Pizza Box below is also a fun design and incorporates the Classic Garage 6×6 paper stack… the paper stack is NOT carrying over into the new catalog, so don’t miss out, order yours HERE today!

I hope you enjoy this masculine card idea featuring the Stampin’ UP! Garage Gears thinlit dies and the Classic Garage suite! Find the entire suite of products HERE in my online Stampin’ UP! store! Cindee taught me how to make this card and showed me embossing tips for the gears to make them look almost like real metal gears!
Be sure to pin the image below to your tips board on Pinterest so that you can find the instructions again!
We die cut the Garage Gears thinlit die in the Big Shot with Crumb Cake cardstock, sponged several colors on it (I used Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Tranquil Tide), then we dipped it onto the Versamark pad, sprinkled on Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. While still warm, I sprinkled some Silver embossing powder sparingly onto the warm clear embossing powder and reheated it. It gave it a fun metallic look!
Don’t you think it looks cool! So glad Cindee taught me this technique!
The card base is Tranquil Tide cardstock and the nuts are from the Classic Garage 6×6 paper stack shown below.
Classic Garage 6×6 designer paper stack sold HERE.
We also used the fun Classic Garage Metal Elements #148485 (keys and wrenches) on the card as well as the coordinating 1/4″ black/silver striped ribbon #148486. If you purchase the Geared UP Garage stamp set and Garage Gears dies together in a bundle you’ll SAVE 10%!! order #150610 as your bundle item for the savings!
Winter Woods stamp set available starting Sept. 5, 2018!
I hope you enjoy my Layered Ink Technique video tutorial at the bottom of this post, with info to create these cards featuring the Stampin' UP! Winter Woods stamp set!
As you will see in the video below, you'll need your Stamparatus Stamp Positioning Tool, and several markers to enjoy this fun Layered Ink technique! I used the Winter Woods stamp set (clear mount) and Whisper White cardstock with my Stampin' Write markers to create these 2 cards. The background is the brand new Buffalo Check background stamp – also available starting 9/5/18.
Thanks to Jenny Hall for the Layered ink tutorial.. I adapted it to use with this stamp set, and love it!
Above: After stamping the pine trees, I added several enamel snowflakes from the Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes package (pg 19 Holiday Catalog #147811), and stamped Merry Christmas in Shaded Spruce ink from the Timeless Tidings stamp set (pg 33 Holiday catalog, #148939 or 148936). I used a small bit of an Old Olive colored doily (#146935) peeking out under the sentiment and some metallic gold pearls for accents (#146282).
Above & Below: the Buffalo check background is stamped onto Mint Macaron cardstock.. in Mint Macaron ink above, and Shaded Spruce ink below. Find the Buffalo check stamp on pg 38 in the Holiday catalog, #147797 or 147794.
Above: To finish off this card, I die cut some Mint Macaron cardstock "sprigs" from the Frosted Bouquet framelits (sponging a little Shaded Spruce ink on a few ends), and I also added a copper leaf trinket because I liked how it complimented the tree trunks. The greeting is from the Beautiful Baubles stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed these cards today. You could change the greeting and use them most any time of year, and I think they'd make particularly nice "manly cards", too!

Stampin' Up! supplies available below in my online store!
I love everything about this card! I love the watercolor-look tree image, the layered ovals, the sponged edges, the stamped background, and the simple embellishments! I stamped this card one day when I was crafting at Cindee's house. We took some inspiration from Pinterest, but ended up making it pretty much our own :) Isn't that was crafters do? 🙂
I used the Stampin' Up! Rooted in Nature stamp set and framelit dies (get them in a bundle at a discount!), and the Handwritten background stamp!
I posted a video a few days ago showing how to stamp this watercolor-look tree. I'm including it in my post below.
Die cut a watercolor paper oval with the Stitched Shape framelits for the tree image
Sponge the edges of the oval and the background image with Soft Suede ink for a beautiful soft touch
Stamp the Handwritten background stamp in Soft Suede ink on a piece of Nature's Poem Designer Paper
Stamp and die cut leaves with the Rooted in Nature bundle
Add a Linen Thread bow to the card for one last "natural" looking embellishment
Watch the video below for details on coloring and spritzing the tree image for the watercolor look

Stampin' Up! supplies for this Rooted in Nature card available below in my online store!
I am sharing 2 versions of this lovely card with you today, featuring the Rooted in Nature stamp set, Wood Textures designer paper, Woodland embossing folder, and a super easy watercolor technique!!
To create this tree image, I colored with my Early Espresso and my Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write markers right onto the rubber, then spritzed the rubber with water before stamping onto the Wood Textures designer paper.
The beautiful tree on these cards is spritzed with water before stamping, and as you can see by the photo below, depending on how much water you spritz on the stamp, you can achieve different "watercolor" looks!
I created 2 different styles of this card, and it just happened to work out that it creates 3 cards because of the way I cut the 6×6 Wood Textures paper. I cut off a 2" wide strip first, then cut the 4" x 6" piece into two 3" x 4" pieces. I was able to use all 3 pieces to make 3 cards!
The Wood Textures 6×6 designer paper stack includes several different wood grain patterns in different wood tones. I used most of the lighter ones in the cards I created. You can stamp right onto it like I did with the tree image.
I also stamped the leaf trio stamp from the Rooted in Nature set with Mossy Meadow ink onto Old Olive cardstock and die cut them for accents on these cards. Rooted in Nature is from the 2018-2019 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog, pg 143 and may be purchased just as a stamp set, or in a 10% off money-saving bundle with the matching framelit dies.
The "wonderful" greeting is found in the Rooted in Nature set and stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, and the "grateful" greeting is found in a set called A Big Thank You from the 2018-2018 Annual catalog, pg 132 (#147377) and is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.
The Grateful greeting is stamped onto a die cut from the Stitched Label framelit dies (#146828).
The background of each card is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Woodland embossing folder.
The card base is Mossy Meadow, cut to 5-1/2" x 11" and folded in half at the top.
Each card has some Linen Thread, either tied around it or in a bow. I thought it added a nice "natural" touch.
I sure hope you enjoyed these cards today!!! You can shop for all of the supplies at the bottom of this blog post. Click any product photo to go right to my online Stampin' Up! store.
