More pages to share tomorrow!
We finished up our iCraft Class Week by making Gratitude Journals. We worked on them on Day 4 and Day 5. I gave the girls pre-printed scriptures, devotions, inspirational quotes, etc., to use in their 5×5 Stampin' Up! On Board Art Journals. They were sooooo creative in making their pages!!!!
I have tonnnnnnnnnnnnnns of photos to share with you .. it's just taking awhile to crop and resize them all.. so stay tuned tomorrow for some great pages from their journals!
I have samples of my previous Gratitude Journals and A-Z scripture scrapbooks HERE and HERE and HERE
We were treated to some yummy cupcakes on our last day too… Thanks C. for bringing them!!
More tomorrow…. I promise!
On our 4th day of the iCraft Class, we had a "field trip" to a local Senior Assisted Living Center and we delivered the 150 candy cello bags we had made the day before:
We used the Big Shot and the Scallop die and the Top Note die to cut out Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette Cardstock, then stamped the toppers and stapled them to the small and medium cello bags filled with all different candies.
We took time to visit with the residents who were having lunch in the dining room, we gave them our candy gifts, and then we all went to a salad bar place for lunch… YUM!
On that day we also worked on some other projects…. did you know stamping is more fun in froggie slippers!? 🙂
Using the Petal Card die, we made these goodies for the office staff at school (candy heart inside each one):
And one girl made these adorable Valentine's to give to friends also using the Petal Card die:
Another gal made these for her friends:
In the aftenoon, we started our Gratitude Journals… here are the gals working hard on those:
My teacher/partner spent part of the week working on a scrapbook for her son.. here she is working at her desk:
Tomorrow I'll post photos of our Gratitude Journal pages.. they turned out FABULOUS!
What a wonderful week this has been! Many of you have asked for more details about this "iCraft Class" I've been teaching.. this is a private Christian school and every January they get to take a one week course the week after finals.. this week is called Intersession. Students can pick classes such as robotics, animation, cooking, flying lessons (yes, my son did that one year!), drivers ed., trips all over the US and abroad, and this year I offered the crafting class. Students pay extra for this week.. it is not included in the monthly tuition. I did not charge them full price for the supplies and I did not charge at all for my time. This was my gift to the students and the school.
Below are the projects we did on Day 3. I'll be blogging Day 4 and 5 soon!
Day 3 – Project 1: Summer Days Journal (see here for my previous post with some instructions for this project). They enjoyed learning how to use the Bind It All for this project!
I LOVE how they used the Big Shot and the alphabet dies to add words to their books!!
And look at these wonderful pages.. I LOVE how she used the "negative"space of this sticker!!
After we finished our books, we worked on a service project…
Day 3 – Project 2: Candy goodie bags for the local Senior Living Center – more on that tomorrow.
We decorated and filled 150 bags … more details tomorrow.
then… Day 3 – Project 3: I taught them how to do this fold.. if you are a demonstrator, you'll find it on the Stampin' Up! demo website under the Sale a Bration Workshop Wizard projects.
The gals thought this would make a fun cell phone holder! :)
One of my clever gals made adorable door hanger this using some of the supplies we had out:
and in closing for today… I've had "purse envy" all week!!!! :) I have LOVED their purses! Time to GO SHOPPING!
Wow.. we sure accomplished a LOT during Day 2 of our iCraft class!!
Day 2 – Project 1: I taught the girls how to make the CD FOLDER memory books – they LOVED these! (Instructions are available as a download purchase HERE).

oh dear.. a little uh oh …. we can ALL relate!
Did I mention they LOVE the Big Shot!? Wow.. what a hit.. they are putting initials and scallops and Top Note dies on everything!
I'm so comforted to know I'm not the only one who likes to SPREAD OUT my work!
I've gotta say… HOW COOL IS THIS!!?? They took this photo and then used my star punch to punch out the center…. I mean really… just toooo much fun! 🙂
Day 2 – Project 2: In addition to the CD folder albums, we also decorated some tins with the new Rockabilly Specialty paper…
How cute is this.. her box matches her shirt!
