When I received my copy of the 2019 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog last April at the OnStage event in San Antonio, I knew immediately that the Beautiful Friendship set would be one of my VERY FAVORITE stamp sets in the catalog! I love the floral images and the watercolor look you can achieve just by stamping them!! I also think it’s a hidden gem in the catalog, because I’ve heard a lot of demonstrators and customers say they didn’t even notice it at first! It’s on page 123 in the catalog, or #149252 here in my online store.
I saw this note card idea on Instagram by creativejuicebyloni and I knew I needed to try this idea!! The 3-1/2″ x 5″ Thick Whisper White note cards are the perfect size to use for these simple single layer cards!! I think they MIGHT qualify for #simplestamping
It is probably really difficult to see in the photos, but I used a Wink of Stella pen on each flower and they are SO pretty in person!
I really wanted to keep this color palette simple, and selected Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Black ink.
I die cut the Stitched Rectangles dies for my sentiment, which covers up where the 2 large rose images meet, and stamped “Let’s Celebrate” and “So Very Thankful” on them in Memento Black ink. These sentiments are from the “For the Love of Felt” stamp set, pg 201 or #149507 here in my online Stampin’ UP! Store.
I’m sure you can imagine unlimited possibilities with color combos for this card design, let me know which colors you plan to use!

These Beautiful Friendship flower cards started out as a “one sheet wonder” – have you done that before? I stamped the entire 8-1/2×11 Whisper White cardstock piece with all the flowers and leaves, then cut it into 1/4ths for the 4 card fronts. I love how pretty these cards turned out, and loved embellishing them with different greetings, ribbons, and mounting them on 4 different colored card bases.
Ordering Reminder: when you purchase from me and your order is at least $50, you are not only earning $5 Bonus Days Coupons this month, but of course also a spot on your Free Stamps with Patty form!!! You will also receive a free Holiday catalog in August from me!!
The card below is mounted on a Thick Whisper White folded card base, and the greeting is from the Country Home stamp set, stamped in Rococo Rose ink on a die cut from the Smooth Sailing dies, mounted onto a round Stitched Shape die cut. I tied it up with the 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and added some pink rhinestones from the Peacock Rhinestone pack.
To bring out the Seaside Spray flowers, I mounted the card below on Seaside Spray cardstock – a new In Color – and used Seaside Spray ribbon wrapped around the card. Did you see what I did with just a piece of the Stitched Label die???? 🙂 The greeting is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink (another new In Color) and it’s found in the Bloom and Grow stamp set.
I wanted to play up the Mango Melody on this card below, so mounted the stamped floral piece on a folded Mango Melody card base and added some of the new 3/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon in Crushed Curry. I think it goes perfectly!! The greeting is from the Country Home stamp set.
I really love these colors together.. I used Mango Melody, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Pear Pizzazz. Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray are new 2019-2021 In Colors. See ALL the new In Colors HERE.
A Rococo Rose cardstock base really brings out the stamped Rococo Rose roses on this card, and I also tried layering 2 die cut pieces from the Perfect Parcel dies set.. I really liked how that came out!!
I Love Love Love this Pressed Petals floral card we made at Kurstan’s Bingo event last weekend!! It’s sooo pretty!! The Pressed Petals paper can be found on page 74 or page 167 in the new Annual Catalog or HERE online.
This fun card layout is like the Bird Ballad cards I posted HERE. We used the Floral Essence stamp set and matching Perennial Flower punch for the focal point. After stamping the flower image we used the Blender Pen to pull some of the color toward the tip of each petal. See graphic below.
View the entire Pressed Petals Suite of papercrafting products on pages 72 to 74, or HERE in my online Stampin’ UP! store.
The tip to making this card so easy is to use the 2 punches shown above: the Perennial Flower punch and the Leaf Punch. Kurstan was so clever, she used the green music note paper pattern in the Pressed Petals designer paper pack for the leaves!!!! What a great idea!
Use the Blender Pen to pull ink from the stamped image from the flower center toward the tips of each petal.
I LOVE this design tip: Use a strip of the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon as an accent on the card, and cover 1/2 of it with the Hello greeting sentiment stamped on Whisper White!
Find the Pressed Petals designer paper on page 74 or 167 or online #149500

Have you ever been to a Stampin’ Bingo event? We had so much fun playing bingo and creating 5 stamping projects!! Check out Kurstan’s future events HERE.
Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and customers have spoken.. the Good Morning Magnolia bundle is one of the most popular new bundles in the new catalog! I knew it would be.. It’s amazing!! I paired it with the new Birch Background stamp on my 2 Magnolia cards today and I love them both! I colored one with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends and the other one with Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends.
Step 1: Stamp Magnolia image in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock
Step 2: Color with Stampin’ Blends markers
Step 3: Die cut with coordinating Magnolia Memories dies
Step 4: Add to card with lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals
This money saving bundle (priced at 10% off) includes both the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and the Magnolia Memories dies. I stamped and colored the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends then die cut them to add to my cards. Find the Magnolia Lane Suite on pages 26 – 38 in your new catalog or HERE online.
I added a knot of the new Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon to this card to coordinate with the colored flower. It’s so pretty and already a best seller. Find it on pages 107 and 174, #149441 online. I decided to try really soft colors on this card, so the Birch Background is inked with Soft Suede but stamped off TWICE before stamping the Whisper White background. The leaves are colored with Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends.
Stampin’ Blends Tip! Add some yellow to the green leaves as shown below to really pick up the yellow in the flower, and, don’t be afraid to mix more than one Stampin’ Blends color. When you pair the Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody as shown below, it’s almost like 4 shades of one color. Same idea with the Light and Dark Petal Pink combined with the Light and Dark Calypso Coral above.
For the leaves, I used Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The Birch Background is stamped in Soft Suede ink but stamped off once prior to stamping this background. The base is Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
As you can see, I’ve mixed and matched some accessory elements from other suites – the Petal Pink ribbon from the Floral Essence suite and also the Bird Ballad trinkets (below) from the Bird Ballad suite!
Do you have a preference? The Yellow one or the Peach one?

My cardbase is Coastal Cabana cardstock, and I sponged some Coastal Cabana ink onto the Whisper White cardstock layer. The Coastal Cabana Glitter Enamel Dots and Coastal Cabana “hello” stamped on the Stitched Nested Label die all tie in the color combo.
Stampin’ UP! Color Combo:
I used Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, and Old Olive for this fun card.
This card was inspired by the super talented Tami Hewlett. She is AMAZING! I found this card on Instagram and fell in love with this color combo and layout. I think she watercolored her background though. Thanks for the inspiration, Tami!
I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral ink, then I used the Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends markers to lightly give some color to the flower. I curled the flower with my bone folder to give it dimension and then sponged the edge with Calypso Coral ink. I think it really gave some fun dimension!! The leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink onto Pear Pizzazz cardstock, then punched with the Leaf Punch.
At first I made this card with 3 flowers, and then I wasn’t sure if it felt too crowded, so I did 2 flowers and added the Stitched Nested label with the “hello” stamped on it. What do you think? 2 or 3?
Enjoy amazing inspiration with more new projects from my fellow Luv 2 Stamp Group teammates:

On this card today, I used SEVERAL of the products in the Magnolia Lane Suite HERE or see pg 37:
Good Morning Magnolia bundle (stamp set & dies) #151087
Magnolia Lane designer paper (2 fussy cut flowers lower left) #149484
Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Cards & Envelopes – Memories & More (base card) #149487
Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack (vellum) #149554 (expected to go on backorder!)
I stamped the large magnolia flower with Memento Black ink onto Thick Whisper White cardstock, and colored it with my Stampin’ Blends markers (Petal Pink combo pack #147272, Mint Macaron combo pack #147283, and Light Daffodil Delight #144586). After die cutting, I popped it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals before adding it to the card. The lower left 2 Magnolia images were fussy cut with my Paper Snips from the Magnolia Lane designer paper!
The Magnolia flower images were all layered onto the 3″ x 4″ piece of printed vellum from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack, onto a Memories & More specialty card. The envelope and liner come in that pack as well!
Love You is stamped with the new In Color: Rococo Rose onto a die cut tag from the Perfect Parcel die set #149627. The stamp is found in the “Enjoy Life” set, #148190.
