As we reach the last couple days of Sale-a-Bration 2019, I thought I’d recap and share a few of my very favorite Sale-a-Bration projects with you!!
I hope you enjoy these Stampin’ UP! projects featuring Sale-a-Bration 2019 products.. remember.. Sale-a-Bration 2019 ends 3-31-19and that means all of these great gifts you can select as your FREE item will end too!
Short and Sweet today… I hope you enjoy this adorable Happy Easter Card Idea featuring the Stampin’ UP! Fable Friends stamp set!! Cindee and I created this card at her house last week and we watercolored the cute little “Peter Rabbit” bunny after stamping him on watercolor paper. He is sitting in a cupcake from the Sale-a-Bration Hello Cupcake stamp set – still available through 3-31-19 as your free gift!
The Granny Apple Green leaves are stamped and die cut with the Painted Seasons stamp set and Four Seasons framelits. The stamp set is available as your free Sale-a-Bration gift choice and the framelits are available online here. The other leaf pieces and the “happy” die cuts are from the Well Written words framelit set. Easter is stamped and cut out by hand. It’s from the Fable Friend set.
Although you probably cannot see it in the photo, the white background is embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, and layered onto Bermuda Bay and then a Crumb Cake card base.
No Line Watercoloring… have you tried it? I recently tried it and made this Teapot card at Kurstan’s all day stamping retreat!! I’ll admit it.. I was intimidated.. but I really do love how this watercolored Tea Together card turned out!
“No Line Watercoloring” basically means that you stamp the image in a super light color, rather than in black, and then you watercolor. When you watercolor over the light outlines, they either just disappear, or, they just kind of fade into the image. The outline doesn’t stand out as it would if stamped in black.
Kurstan had each of us “smoosh” the Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Spots onto a cello bag (with a Whisper White piece of cardstock inside) then use that as our palette for watercoloring.. what a super easy way to do this with a large group!!
We stamped the images from the Tea Together stamp set #148779 in Highland Heather on watercolor paper, and then painted them in with our Aqua Painter. I was not quite as happy with my teapot as I was with my flowers.. but it was a learning experience and I love my finished card.
I really did want to have time to do a video for you, but all but all 3 of us have been sick and I just haven’t had time to do a video. If you want more info on No Line Watercoloring, you can search for some videos on YouTube. I’ll try to do a video in April.
The Teapot and flowers were die cut with the Tea Time framelits – a free gift choice during Sale-a-Bration 2019!
The die cut teapot and flowers were layered onto Highland Heather Gingham Gala paper, then onto polka dot paper from the Botanical Butterfly deisgner paper pack, then onto Basic Black cardstock and a folded Highland heather base card.
Tea Party Anyone? These tea cups stamped on the subtle patterned Petal Promenade paper would make great little tea party invitations!
As you can see below, I stamped the tea cup from the Tea Together stamp set (pg 49 in the Occasions catalog #148779 online) in Calypso Coral ink onto the subtle “marble” pattern in the Petal Promenade Designer paper pack, then die cut them with the coordinating Tea Time framelits – available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY as your Free Sale-a-Bration gift!!
Whohooo!! Limited time only.. select the Petal Promenade designer paper as your free Sale-a-Bration gift!! 🙂
Each Note Card is covered with a piece of Tea Room designer paper #146894
After stamping, you can add a little depth by sponging a bit of color onto the tea cups and saucers, then die cut with the Tea Time framelits!
Stamp and color some of the flowers in the Tea Together stamp set using Stampin’ Blends markers. Die cut them with the coordinating framelits in the Tea Time framelits package.
