If you read yesterday’s blog post, you know I am in San Antonio this weekend at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event!! It’s like a mini convention, and we get to see the NEW 2019-2020 Stampin’ UP! catalog today!! yay!!! I created these Garden Impressions Thank You Cards to take to the Stampin’ Up! staff today. I hope it brightens their day and lets them know how much they are appreciated!! If you want to reserve your 2019-2020 catalog CLICK HERE!
I used the Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White Note card bases that come precut, prescored with envelopes in a pack, and I added some floral designer paper from the Garden Impressions 6×6 paper stack to the front and inside of each card, then put the remaining piece from the 6×6 on the envelope flap!! cuteness!
The bold Thank You So Much stamp and the fun sentiment on the inside are both from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set shown below, #141522 online. I used Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick ink.
To decorate the front of each card, I used a Pearlized Doily, with a Sweet Pins & Tag tag on top, and stamped it with the “You’re So Awesome” stamp from the Flowering Desert stamp set, in Lovely Lipstick or Calypso Coral ink.
Each card has some flowers that I cut out of the Garden Impressions paper with my Paper Snips and added some Happiness Blooms enamel dots to each flower center.
Fun Craft Tip!
I found that the Four-Petal punch is a quick and easy way to create leaves for my flowers! I punched it in Call Me Clover cardstock and just tucked it behind the flower!!
The Garden Impressions 6×6 paper stack is available in our current catalog, or HERE online.
I really wanted to try a garden lattice effect with the Florentine Thinlit die, so I die cut it in Whisper White cardstock and layered it over 2 different patterns from the Garden Impressions designer paper from Stampin’ Up!. I added watercolor die cut roses from the Petal Palette stamp set – they look like the climbing roses on a trellis in my garden! (I just noticed that the Florentine die is on LOW inventory... don’t delay if you want to order one!)
Stamped and watercolored Petal Palette roses #145788
The flowers are stamped with StazOn ink onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Stampin’ UP! ink. I colored them with a watercolor brush dipped onto a clear block that I smooshed into the following ink pad colors: Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Call my Clover, Granny Apple Green and Cajun Craze.
I experimented with several different patterns from the Garden Impressions designer 6×6 paper stack behind the lattice Florentine die cut piece and the 2 in my blog post today are my 2 favorites.
I love the sentiment above, as I feel it’s perfect for this card. It’s stamped in Calypso Coral ink on a Stitched Circle die cut and it’s from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. The Base card is Mango Melody, because I thought it looked nice with the Garden Impressions designer paper.
Find the Florentine Thinlit die cut in my online Stampin’ Up! store here. You can die cut the flowers with the Petals and More Thinlit dies, #145655
For the Thank you From the Heart sentiment above, I combined 2 stamps from the Petal Palette set onto one die cut tag (from the Humming Along framelits) and added an Epoxy Heart that I colored with my Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend marker. The base card is Call Me Clover cardstock.
If you know me well, you know I LOVE flowers – in my garden, in a vase, or on a card! My handstamped card today features the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Promenade stamp set and 2 embossing folders: Petal Pair embossing folder #145656 and the upcoming soon-to-be-released Country Floral embossing folder #149698!! You will be able to select this new Country Floral embossing folder starting on 2-15-19 as your level 1 Sale-a-Bration gift!
The flowers from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set were stamped in Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo and Grapefruit Grove ink. The leaves are from the Healing Hugs stamp set and stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Up! ink.
For the Petal Pair embossing folder, I used Watercolor paper, sprinkled it with some Brusho Crystal Colour, spritzed with water, and ran it through the Big Shot with the Petal Pair embossing folder. Let dry and you have this great watercolor looking background pattern!!
Coming Soon! Sale-a-Bration Second Release!
The 4″x 5-1/4″ piece of Calypso Coral cardstock was embossed with the new Country Floral Embossing Folder! This will be a free gift choice for the Second Release of Sale-a-Bration 2019 starting on Feb. 15, 2019 as a Level 1 gift!! I also embossed the Sweet Pins & Tags tag with it!!
I mounted the embossed piece onto a top fold Poppy Parade base card (use Multipurpose Liquid Glue for best results), and tied it all up with some Calypso Coral satin ribbon.
You will be able to select this new Country Floral embossing folder starting on 2-15-19 as your level 1 Sale-a-Bration gift!
I stamped friend from the Needle & Thread stamp set onto a Whisper White Die Cut tag from my Stitched Labels Framelit dies in Poppy Parade ink.
I really love how full and colorful this card turned out!!! To see more info about layering the Beautiful Promenade flowers, click here.
This beautiful Silver Gable Box was a gift I received at the Stampin’ UP! Onstage event in November! The talented, and very kind, Elisha Smith made it and gave it to me! She embossed the gable box with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder, and made the gorgeous tag with the Country Home stamp set.
I was just speechless when Elisha gave it to me.. it’s SO gorgeous! She filled it with “buckeye” (amazing chocolate & peanut butter) candy!
The tag is just stunning. She stamped it with one of the images from the Country Home stamp set with a Memento Black ink pad, and colored it with Stampin’ Blends markers. But.. did you see what tricky thing she did? She stamped the image twice.. once right side up, and then again upside down!! She put the heartfelt gratitude sentiment in the middle where the 2 images meet!!
Yes, you CAN emboss the gable boxes with embossing folders in the Big Shot!!

Above: I gathered with some fellow Luv 2 Stamp Group demonstrators a couple of months ago and we worked on these fun fold out cards. If you’d like to make these, you can shop for the products at the links at the bottom of this post in my online Stampin’ UP! store.
Above: this fold out card features the “Big Plans” Memories & More card pack. I used some of the stickers in the kit to create the cute embellishments. I also used Calypso Coral and Pineapple Punch cardstock. I die cut one of the Memories & More cards with the Stitched Shape Framelits and layered it onto a die cut Scalloped Square cut from Calypso Coral cardstock for the front of this cute fold out card.

I was adding Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to these Pop of Petal flower images on one of my recent videos (here), so then I decided I needed to use these flowers on a card!! I created this lovely summery, tropical card with the Tropical Chic bundle, Tropical Chic paper and some Frosted Floral paper! Neat combo, right?
I Loved how the Frosted Floral background leaf pattern coordinates with the Tropical Chic paper and bundle and Pop of Petals bundle!
