I have a lovely Fall Leaf card to share with you today!! Grab your glossy paper and reinkers and get ready to make one with the Seasonal Layers leaf framelits from Stampin' UP!
The background of this card is created by sponging Crushed Curry ink onto Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, then dropping drops of water from the Aquapainter to create the water circle marks. We also splattered Wink of Stella onto the Very Vanilla. (The card base is also Thick Very Vanilla cardstock).
Cindee taught me how to make this lovely card and how to create these AMAZING leaves!! You can see her blog post HERE.
The leaves are created by die cutting the shapes from Glossy paper using the Seasonal Layers framelits, then spritzing them with the Stampin' Spritzer with water, and then dropping drops of reinker onto them. Once dry they are gorgeous! As you can see we also dipped a few in versamark ink and added some gold embossing powder then heating with our heat tool! WOW!! As you can see below, you might want to do the spritzing and ink drops on a paper towel.
I cannot tell you how fun it is to watch the ink spread and mix and to see the different outcome of each leaf!!
Final touches: Linen thread wrapped around the card front and tied in a bow, and Glitter enamel dots! Greeting stamped in Soft Suede from the So Many Shells stamp set.
You can make one too! You'll find all of these Stampin' Up! supplies in my online Stampin' Up! store by clicking any of the product photos below:

The concept for these cards is quick and simple, just cut 2" square (or 2" x 3") pieces of paper to use as the "gifts", and die cut a "bow" using Gold Foil paper with the top portion of the flower die in the Sunshine Wishes Thinlit pack, and you have yourself a darling gift to put on a card!
This Christmas Specialty paper is ON SALE for only $9.10 per pack! Click HERE to shop now!
This is also a super terrific way to use up paper scraps, or make a load of cards fairly quickly!!
You may have noticed that I added a sentiment on a banner on each card. I had fun going through my stamp sets to see which sentiments worked best on the stamped banner from the Birthday Banners set!
See below for some ideas!
TIP: Great idea to have a few stamped banners on hand to add to cards anytime!!
The images I paired up with the Birthday Banners banner stamp are:
Color Combo Above: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo Flower centers embellished with Basic Pearls
Watch the video above to see how easy it is to die cut and color these beautiful hearts using the Bloomin' Heart thinlit die, sponge daubers and Stampin' Up! ink pads.
Color Combo Below: Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder Flower centers embellished with Basic Pearls colored with a gold Sharpie marker (similar to this video)
When Cindee taught me how to make these cards, we mounted all of the hearts onto folded Crumb Cake card bases (cards shown above). At home when I made more, I made them on Thick Whisper White card bases measuring 4×4 (shown below).
I embellished the heart above with Metallic Enamel Shapes in Silver, and added the gorgeous Silver Metallic ribbon – a free Sale a Bration gift choice through 3/31/17 (or while supplies last). The lace stamps are stamped in Bermuda Bay and the stamps are also a free Sale a Bration 2017 gift choice. Click here for more info about Sale a Bration 2017.
As you saw in the video above, if you die cut the heart a 2nd time using the Bold Butterfly framelit, you will get a beautiful detailed butterfly shape!

I was strolling along on Pinterest getting some ideas for upcoming projects and I saw this adorable idea for Punch Art Pumpkin Pie by Kirsteen Gill! I knew I had to make this, BECAUSE my hubby's FAVORITE dessert in the world is Pumpkin Pie!! So one of these cards is for him!! The Stampin' UP! Layering Circle framelits are the perfect tool for this paper crafting project!
If you know me, you know that I don't particularly like to spend time in the kitchen.. so this is the ONLY way I'll be "making" any pumpkin pie this year 🙂
This is so much fun to make and super easy if you have the AmazingLayering Circle framelits from Stampin' Up! When I first saw the 3 sets of layering framelits in the catalog… I was thinking… hmmmm will I really use them? OH MY GOSH… I use the Layering Circles, the Layering Ovals and Layering Squares ALL THE TIME!! What a time saver and such an easy way to make perfect layers and scallops, too! See them all on page 193 in the current annual catalog. Need a catalog? Let me know!
I used the Layering Circle framelits (see them on page 193 of the current 2016 Stampin' Up! annual catalog, or HERE online), and the cardstock listed above in the photo to cut circles and the scalloped layer of "whipped cream". Truth be told, the entire pie would be covered with Cool Whip if it were my hubby's pie… but then you wouldn't see the pumpkin part.. so I had to make it like this. :) I sponged the Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake layer with Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede ink and my sponge daubers to give it some dimension. I also put Clear Wink of Stella on the whipped cream scallop, but it's probably hard to see in the photo.
You could leave the pie "whole" or cut a slice like I did with my paper snips. I put mine on a Silver Foil circle so that it might look like a pie tin.
For the top portion of my cards, I embossed a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla with the Pretty Paisleys embossing folder (pg 47 of the 2016 Holiday catalog or HERE online), and also decorated each card with patterned paper from the Petals & Paisleys specialty designer series paper pack, also on pg 47 or HERE in my ONLINE STORE.
I stamped the Give Thanks greeting from the Suite Seasons stamp set on pg 43 in the 2016 Holiday Catalog from Stampin' UP! in Cajun Craze ink, and tied some Kraft Rope around a couple of them (pg 13, #141996).
With that… have a wonderful day, being thankful for all of your blessings!!
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
