Do you mass produce Christmas cards? If so, this is a quick and easy card to create with the Stamparatus! I hope you enjoy this Easy Poinsettia Christmas card idea!
Before we get into the details to create this card, let me just note 2 things!
- All the Trimmings embellishments are great for adding to the poinsettia flower centers, and also to decorate the card!

Stamping Notes:
- If you are mass producing Christmas Cards, you may find the Stamparatus helpful. As you can see above, I’ve added all the images stamped in red on the left plate, and the leaves on the top plate to stamp in green. Cut a 1/2 sheet of Whisper White and you can stamp lots of great images quickly! If you have not used a Stamparatus, check out my tutorial HERE.
- Coloring the images: I used my Wink of Stella glimmer pen to color in the flowers and leaves. If your image is freshly stamped, you may not even need to add any ink.. you may just be able to pick up the ink on the stamped image. If you need to add some extra ink, drop a couple drops of reinker (ink refill) onto a clear block and pick up a little of the ink with your Wink of Stella to color the image.
- See image below: you might say, the images are colored kind of irregularly… but.. when you layer the 3 die cut flowers together, this adds a ton of pretty contrast to the image.
- Lastly, layer the die cut images together with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Supplies & Directions:
- Base Card: 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ Real Red cardstock, folded in 1/2
- DSP layer: Poinsettia Place DSP 4×4
- Die cut for greeting: from Ornate Layers Dies
- Greeting: stamp in Real Red from Poinsettia Petals set
- 4×4 Whisper White for inside, stamp greeting in Garden Green (from Poinsettia Petals set)
- Poinsettia & leaves: stamp with Real Red and Garden Green ink on Whisper White cardstock. While ink is WET, use Wink of Stella to blend ink. Die cut with Poinsettia Dies. Pinch/fold each petal in 1/2 the long way to give dimension. Layer onto cardfront using dimensionals between each layer.
- Assembly: adhere 4×4 printed pattern to folded base. Tie Real Red Sheer ribbon around card. Add stamped greeting with dimensionals or Foam Sheet. Adhere flower and leaves with dimensionals. Embellish with the “All the Trimmings” embellishments as desired. Add 4×4 WW to inside and add any extra strip of DSP you might have
Finishing Touches:
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card 🙂
- Don’t forget the Real Red sheer ribbon!

Your card is gorgeous …… Such a pretty stamp set…. I have a poinsettia stamp set …. I got it from SU awhile back…..My mom loved Poinsettias so I have to make some every year ….. I miss my mom so much…. She’s been gone 5 years and it still feels like yesterday…. but I’m so glad she’s with my dad…. I can’t imagine if my mom had to have been in a nursing home and not be able to see her…. They’ve been closed for 7 months now….I see a change in our residents with not being able to see their families… It’s sooo sad…but glad I was able to take care of my mom till she took her last breath….
