Trick or Treat! We have a fun treat for you!
Lisa, Cindee, and I recently stamped up a storm and came up with some darling DIY Halloween Treat projects to share with you!
Today, we are sharing our Baker's Box "FaBOOlous" treat featuring the Happy Haunting paper and the Baker's Box framelit from Stampin' UP!
This was the fun little project that I designed and shared the day I stamped with with Cindee and Lisa,… they are going to share their projects with you on this mini blog hop, so please click on the links to their blogs at the bottom of this post to see more ideas!
Did you know we had to perform OWL SURGERY!!! Yes, we did.. but no owls were harmed in the creating of this project!
After I stamped & die cut Mr. Owl (from the Howl-o-Ween Treat stamp set and coordinating Boo to You framelit set, pg 49 of the Holiday catalog) I realized that the "FaBOOlous" banner was going to cover most of his little body.. so, I took a deep breath and cut him in 1/2!!!! I split him apart, notched under his wings, and tucked the stamped banner in the slots so it looked like he was holding on to it 🙂 Then I put him all back together with some Fast Fuse and scotch tape on the back!
The FaBOOlous greeting comes from the Six Sayings Hostess stamp set on pg 51 of the Holiday catalog.. we punched the ends with the Banner Triple Punch, and drew a line on the top and bottom of the banner with a Stampin' UP! Project Life Journaling Pen. Hostess sets are available with your Stampin' Rewards hostess $$ on any customer or workshop order over $150.. see pricing for wood and clear mount options on pg 51.

I also thought this was a fun little tip.. bring the Tangelo Twist 5/8" striped cotton ribbon around the whole box and tuck it in the slot at the top of the Baker's Box, then tie it with some Basic Black 3/8" stitched satin ribbon 🙂
You can use the slot framelit piece that comes in your Baker's Box framelit die set, or use the Curvy Corner Trio punch to punch a slot in the box flaps.
