I loved this circle card idea when I saw it on Dannie's blog. I incorporated it into my Fun Folds Class this week.
You can see Dannie's tutorial HERE.
Use something that is 8-1/2" in diameter to trace a circle on your DSP. This retired piece of chipboard from Stampin' Up! is the right size. You can always try a tupperware lid or plate if you don't have a chipboard circle. If you keep it to 8-1/2" or less, the finished card will fit in the med. envelope from SU!.
After cutting out the circle, you need to do some scoring. I'm not going to repeat all of Dannie's instructions since she did such an excellent job, but here is one of the steps, marking lines at 3-1/2", 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" on your Stampin' Up! Grid paper, then scoring with a bone folder and straight edge. (trust me.. it will make sense if you see Dannie's tutorial – You can see Dannie's tutorial HERE.)
After scoring and cutting your circle, it wll look like this:
Hope your weekend is great!! I'll samples from my Gift Card Holder class coming soon!
