The adorable Coffee Cafe suite of products in the new 2017 Stampin' Up! catalog is definitely one of my best sellers!! Even if you don't drink coffee, you have to admit, everything in this suite is so fun!!! Today I created a top fold card featuring the Coffee Break designer paper and the Coffee Cafe stamp set and framelit bundle. I used the colors in the designer paper as my inspiration for all of the elements on the card.
I am so happy that Stampin' Up! offers the 10% discount opportunity on the bundles. This Coffee Cafe bundle features the stamp set and framelit dies. You can find it on page 30 and 31 in the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog, and find the entire Coffee Break Suite of products HERE in my online Stampin' UP! store.
For a close up look at the Coffee Break Paper, click HERE. The patterns are just adorable!! And did you know that the tiny coffee cup framelit shown above, die cuts the cup out of the paper below!? Score!
Crafting Tip for the Coffee Cups:
Sponge some ink on one edge and the bottom of the stamped cup imagem then die cut and it will look like it's really round!!
Use those Scraps!
I used the small heart framelit from my Support Ribbon framelit set, and die cut little hearts from a left over strip of Coffee Break designer paper, then added them to the cards!
And ... what did I find? The Mini Stampin' Dimensionals were PERFECT for adding those tiny hearts to my cards!! You'll find those on page 203 in the 2017 catalog or HERE in my online store.
Do you enjoy my Stamping & Crafting Tips? Did you know you can see them ALL on my Tips pinterest board HERE!!? whohooo!!
I placed those little hearts onto an oval Corrugated Element. This is a new accessory item found on page 196 in the catalog or here online. They are so cute added to almost any crafting project!
After I die cut the coffee cup, wrapper and lid, I assembled them onto a die cut Stitched Shape oval that was layered onto a die cut scalloped layering oval piece cut with Pool Party cardstock in my Big Shot.
Other elements I added to the card: Banner cut Happy Birthday stamped on a scrap from the Coffee Break DSP pack, Crumb Cake 3/8" classic weave ribbon, and some Washi Tape (green polkadots) from the Basics Pack 2.
Thanks for joining me today for another fun card idea!
