Happiness is a cup of coffee card
July Specials from Stampin' Up!

A great card for GUYS & Burlap stamp tip!

Need a fun card for a special man in your life?  The Pocketful of Sunshine bundle is perfect for making that special card for hubby, son, boyfriend, nephew, dad, coworker, etc.!!

I combined the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set/framelit bundle and the Burlap background stamp to create this Father's Day card, but you can switch up the greeting to create this for any occasion!

I stamped the Burlap Background stamp in Dapper Denim ink on Dapper Denim cardstock for the background of this card, and without reinking, I stamped it a 2nd time onto another piece of Dapper Denim cardstock, and used that piece for the pocket.  I stamped the pocket image in Archival Black ink, die cut it and added it to the card.

My personal preference is the wood background stamps, so I bought the wood mount Burlap stamp, but it's also available in clear mount and you can use your own Clear Block F #118483, pg 217.

For the little "tag" at the side of the pocket like Levi's jeans, I used one of the fun new Corrugated Elements pieces (#144158, pg 31 and 196).  I also added gold "studs" to the pocket, using the Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678, pg 196).

Good evening Patty,,,,,, How CUTE is that..... I was wondering what I would do with this set..... My dad has been gone for 13 yrs.:( ......But your card is ADORABLE...... I might think about this bundle......I don't know how, but I missed the Burlap stamp somehow and I've been through the catalog many times. Oh well, NOW I see it,lol..... I love how you used the corrugated elements for the tab... I would have NEVER thought of that..... Thanks for sharing and have a great evening.
