Above: check out how we added a 2nd layer of color to the Happy Birthday greeting punched image.. I think this was Cindee's idea.. we stamped this card together a few months ago, and I love how fun this looks!

The greetings on these cards are from the Tin of Cards stamp set.. possibly one of my favorites of all time!!  See it on page 86 in the current annual catalog or #138946 online.

Get Double Duty out of your Best Badge Punch!!  Not only can you punch out the cute happy hello greeting, but you can also create a scalloped yellow border for this fun card!  Just another great tip that Cindee taught me!

Below is my color combo for this card.  Any 2 shaded of color that are close in intensity will work for this 2 step stampin process, and any color outline works too!  Check out THIS POST for another idea with this great stamp set.

I love the enamel shape dots from Stampin' Up! and they are so pretty in the flower centers!!  On some of the cards I used all Daffodil Delight or Crushed Curry, and on other flowers I used black.... oh... wait.. you say.. they don't make black dots???? No problem.. color some with your Black Sharpie marker :)

The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock, and the stripes and polkadots patterned papers are from the Brights collection Designer Series Paper stack #138434.  The little sunburst dotted paper below is one of the patterns in the Festive Birthday pack #141630.

Wow, what a gorgeous pop of color! Even though I enjoy seeing the fall and winter themed cards at this time - this is most welcome. These cards so welcome that one might make them for a Christmas gift. Who wouldn't want a set of these bright and cheery cards?

Mary Ann Ely
