I did a fun live video on Facebook yesterday about this giveaway.. click the video below to view it on my business Facebook page! You'll see exactly how I made this fun bag!
You can watch the video from my facebook business page HERE!
As you saw in the video above, I had this cute striped bag from Sephora and I didn't want to toss it in the recycle bin, so I just covered the store logo with these cute "Pop of Pink" gifts!!
I cut some Pop of Pink paper (page 172 annual catalog, #141648) into 2" squares and 2" x 2-1/2" pieces and those were the "gift boxes" then used the Sunshine Wishes "flower" framelit die cut as the bow (page 194, #141489)! Color palette: black, white, Melon Mambo, and gold. The Gold Foil Sheets (pg 175, #132622) are an amazing compliment to the gold printed patterns in the Pop of Pink Paper Pack!!!
I recreated the look of the gift bag with a card. I folded a Melon Mambo 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of cardstock in 1/2 and then added the black and white striped piece from the Pop of Pink designer series paper pack, then added the "gifts" and bows just like I did on the bag! (see the video for all the details).

But I’m also loving Halloween Nights, Warmth & Cheer, and Candy Cane Lane. I am one of the few people on the planet who does not have a Facebook account, so I could not watch the video. Thank you for the written instructions on how you created the bag. But I think the Irresistably Floral would win today as it can be turned into any color you may need. They are all so fabulous.

Hi Patty,
Great video. So cool to see a way to repurpose a bag. The bag works very well with Pop of Color. As for my favorite paper, I have two which are Playful Palette and Pop of Color. Could see lots of uses for both sets birthdays, get well, sympathy, etc. Thank for making the video and sharing products. Blessings.
Sally
Love how you repurposed the bag, the black & white stripes were just too cute to toss! 🙂 My favorite DSP is a tie between the Festive Birthday and the Candy Cane Lane … Just couldn’t pick a favorite! Honestly, I love every single DSP in both catalogs this year, SU! really hit it out of the park with their designs and color combos.
Dear Patty, I love to see your videos and how you arrive at idea for your projects. Your creativity just inspires me. My favorite paper has to be Serene Scenery. Fall or spring; bright or thoughtful; This paper is so versatile. I just love it. Thank you so much for this “candy” treat.
I’m with you Patty, I can never throw a pretty bag away… you did a good job of recycling! My favorite DSP is Affectionately Yours. It’s truly hard to chose out of all the lovelies. Thanks for the chance to win your super fun giveaway!
Why didn’t I think of that? Great idea for packaging Hostess gifts for parties. I have my own “Prize Patrol” when the ladies come they pick out two squares of Stampin’ Up! card stock. I punch them out with my 1″ square punch. ( I also use circles.) One they drop in the prize patrol jar and the other they use to identify their color. This does two things, helps them learn our colors and they enjoy the little breaks it creates. Your lovely package of goodies will go to my ladies “Prize Patrol”. You always have such wonderful ideas that you share. When I get stumped I always check out what you are doing. Thank you.
OOPS! My favorite dsp is PETALS AND PAISLEYS-PERFECT for fall and cards for my quilting friends.

Patty,
Love the recycled bag and a chance to blog candy is always fun. My favorite DSP is Festive Birthday.
I love the pop of pink!! What a SUPER Idea! That bag looks like a million bucks now!!
Patty–I love the repurposed bag and the cute card that you made to go with it. The Pop Of Pink DSP with the black and white are stunning. My current favorite designer series paper is the Candy Cane Lane Paper out of the holiday catalog. It is so versatile. Not only will it be used to make cute Christmas Cards, but the peppermint heart papers will be great to use for Valentine’s Day or a winter anniversary or wedding card. The cute little gingerbread house paper will be also good for scrapbooking, cards, as well as decorations and for a “welcome to your new home card”. The striped or speckled papers combine Real Red, Crumb Cake and Whisper White making them good for all kinds of cards, not just Christmas Cards. They will also be excellent to use for masculine cards. Enjoy your blog and your Facebook posts.
