Wishing you a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend filled with family, fun, food and gratitude for our amazing country!! I am so thankful to live in the USA and I am so appreciative of all who serve and protect our country!
I love this sweet Baby Bear stamp from Stampin' UP! and thought he'd make a cute 4th of July patriotic bear greeting card, so I added a little flag and a cute red scallop to give it a little extra boost of patriotism! The Floral Boutique background paper and red scallop just give it that "front porch" patriotic feel!!
Baby Bear is a new stamp set found on page 61 in your 2016 Stampin' UP! catalog, or HERE in my online store.
Are you wondering where that darling scallop came from? It's a framelit piece in the Popcorn box die set, new from Stampin' UP! on pg 191 in the 2016 catalog, or HERE in my online store.
You might be recognizing this Baby Bear color combo from THIS CARD that I previously shared with you.. it works so well, I used it again for this card!
TIP for stamping Baby Bear "3-Step Stamping" - stamp dark to light: I found it So Much Easier to stamp the darkest image first, then line up the bottom outline of the bear with the next stamp in the middle color and then use the most solid image in the lightest color last. I tried 3 times the "other" way (light to dark) before I discovered stamping it this way and then it came out great each time! yay!
OH, and the ADORABLE printed blue and white paper?? it's from the Floral Boutique designer series paper pack, found on page 172, or HERE in my online store.
