Baby Card for the Twins!

You might remember me sharing a Project Life album I made for Stephanie, our friend having twin girls (see that post here).  We wanted to give them some cute clothing for the babies, too, so when we gave Stephanie and her husband the additional gift, I gave them this card for their twin baby girls!

Does this ever happen to you ... you see a card and decide to copy it.. but then when you finish, it's just about nothing like the original idea??  Well... I started out thinking I'd use the Zoo Babies card idea below, and then I totally changed it up and used the baby bears from the Bear Hugs set!!

Stampin' Up! Baby Card ideas featuring Zoo Babies and Bear Hugs stamps, punches, paper and dies

I loved the cute little wagons with the baby bear die cuts, and added Basic Gray Candy Dots to the 1/2" black circles to look like wheels.  I also used my Project Life journaling marker to draw on the wagons and draw the little strings to make the wagons look like they were tied together.

The bears and matching framelit dies are available at a 15% Discount! But only until May 31!  Click on the product bundle photos at the bottom of this post to purchase them in my online store.

The background is Flirty Flamingo Cardstock (new on June 1st!) embossed with the Elegant Dots embossing folder.  The wagons are punched out using the Decorative Label punch in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach cardstock (both to be released in the new In Color Collection on 6/1/16).

I added a strip of flowered designer paper from the new Affectionately Yours pack and also some Flirty Flamingo ruched ribbon.  Customers can purchase all these new items on June 1 in the new catalog.  Do you need a catalog? Let me know.

I was going to put the little stamped/die cut bows "in their hair" but it didn't look right to me.. so I put them on the wagons and I think it's totally cute!

The Twins are here!  Stephanie had the twins about 6 weeks early.. just under 5 pounds each and everyone is doing fine!  I am so excited to meet Jennifer and Jessica soon!

Oh my gosh Patty, What an ADORABLE card and I love how you made the wagons out of the Decorative Label Punch...... I have all these punches but don't know how to use them in different ways. Simply adorable.... I bet you're excited to meet these precious babies. Oh how I love babies, so much fun to cuddle. Have a great day Patty.
