The photo below shows 4 versions of the Fun Fold card.. I will share details on the 2 Botanicals cards today, and then share details on the Birthday Blossoms and Tea Cup card tomorrow!

The cards below are created using the Botanicals suite of products, NEW on pages 26 and 27 in the 2016 Stampin' UP! Occasions catalog.  Did you notice it's the centerfold!? eek.. such a beautiful 2 page spread!! I've used the Botanical Gardens designer paper, the Botanical Blooms stamp set, the Botanical Gardens Cardstock pack, the Botanical Builder Framelits and the Botanical Gardens Washi Tape!

I stamped the images with the Grateful Bunch stamp set, found on pg 22 of the Occasions catalog.

Isn't that a fun card! I love this quick and easy card that just really packs a lot of WOW punch!!

Below is the card I made with Cindee when I stamped at her house in December.  You can see her card here.

I love the Cajun Craze Scallop under the top flap.. that's from the Cutie Pie thinlits... be sure not to overlook the extra pieces in the great framelit sets!

We also used a fun new FREE Sale a Bration product on our cards.. did you spot the pretty patterned Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum? It's on pg 4 of the Sale a Bration catalog, and you can get that FREE when you purchase the Botanical Suite Bundle I mentioned above!!  Or, select any of the other 10 free gifts in the Sale a Bration catalog with your $50 purchase!

I die cut a flower in the 4x4 Whisper White piece of cardstock to allow the Hello Honey cardstock to show through, then stamped one of the Botanical Blooms flower images in the center!  Such an easy touch that lends a lot to the card!

Feel free to print and save the instructions below for the Fun Fold Card.  I have 2 versions for you, mentioned in the video.  You can either make 2 cards from an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock, or make 3 cards from a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock.

Carmen

Hi Patty I love these cards. I am going crazy over here. I followed the measurements but it does not fold correctly. Is anyone else having issues? I cut at 41/4x11 and scored at 41/2 and 81/2. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Patty Bennett

So happy you are all enjoying it.. thanks to Cindee for showing me!
Carmen, the instructions say to score at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2.. so your scoring is just a little off.. I'm sure it will work when you score it at 4-1/4" instead.

Karren

Love your cards!! Sometimes I have found that a few fun folds are not so fun, but you have done such a wonderful job of instructing and showing us step-by-step. This fun fold will be fun. I am looking forward to making these beautiful cards. Thanks again for all you do for us. Words sound a little weak, but I am so grateful for all you help us with, and all you share with us.

Best wishes, Karren

Carmen

Thank you Patty. I just noticed that I was off on my scoring. I need to get my eyes checked. Lol.

Edna Burgess

So cute and will try to make some tomorrow. Great video and thanks for the tips and tutorials. Edna

Love . . . Love . . . Love this card design. I am going to make a few right away. Because I am going to use up some of my 6x6 paper shares, I am going to cut the top piece 4" x 1-3/4" and add the scallop edging to the bottom edge of the DSP.

Always look forward to your ideas!

Lori Smanski

these look like a lot of fun to make. thank you so much for the tutorial. I really work better with written out patterns

Cindy McCool

Really cute card! What size envelope do they take and do they require extra postage due to irregular size?

Lynn Fletcher

Hi Patty! Love the tutorial you gave on this, but I can't download your PDF to print it off to take to my craft room to do it. Any suggestions as what I can do? I will let you know now that when I do download to my computer the it becomes a E pdf, now this usually is not a problem to convert to Adobe pdf and print, but something won't let be do that. :(

Juanita Zavala

I love your flip card. I tried one myself for a Thank You card.
I would love to win your retired folders.

am unable to print a clean copy of your page, project pictures, or instruction sheets. the right and left columns overlay the pages along with alot of bulleted items. I printed a copy of the first 19 pages, and they are all the same - overlayed with other printing. would like to send these copies to you so you can see what's happening. can you fix this? it seems to have started when SU downloaded new websites for the demonstrators. all the websites print right and left column info over the content, but yours also prints the bulleted info, obliterating the info I am trying to print. any suggestions for me? or, can you work with SU to get this repaired? I really miss being able to print your project instructions to take to my craft room when I want to make a project.

thanks for whatever you can do to fix this.

Caros Bastelbude

Michele Uke

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I did one of these cards and just want to check one thing. It looks great from the front, but the back when I flip it over shows a half circle with the white paper insert showing through. Did I make it correctly?

Sue

Love your cards. I am wondering if the stampin up stitch dies can be used on a cuttlebug machine? Sue
