I love that I can easily remove and use the framelit, and then replace the pieces onto the magnet cards without any other packaging!

As you can see above and below, I cut the Staples Poly file folders down into smaller pieces and used them for my dividers!  I cut them to 7" wide to fit the boxes perfectly.  I used my P-Touch label maker to create categories.  You are welcome to copy my suggested categories, or do what works for you!  To see how easy it is to make file folder tabs with the Envelope Punch board, WATCH THIS VIDEO.

Each magnetic card is labeled with my P-Touch label maker.  You could also add the Stampin' UP! product code, or # of dies per set to the label.

Good morning Patty, I use the stamp and storage boxes for my dies but thanks for the showing of the plastic file folders. I wasn't sure how to mark what I have so going to Staples tomorrow for some folders. I bought the box with the lids. I thought it would keep them form getting dusty. I love stamp and storage. I have a good many of their products and PERFECT for SU items. Have a great day. I have been sick since Christams eve :(

Dale

What a great idea. Thank you for sharing. I keep all of my dies in the plastic handled cases with magnetic sheets, but this way is so much easier to see and choose your dies. I am going to be checking out StampnStorage for sure.

Susan from Colorado

Patty, great video! I've been using the same magnetic plates for about a year now and I love them! I put them in a plastic tub with handles and a lid that I purchased at WM. It works well for me. I really like your idea for the dividers and I plan on incorporating your idea for my tubs! I'm crazy about organization and making life easier to stamp. If everything has a place, then keeping that stamping table clean for the next project is do-able! Thanks again! How I love your blog!!

Trish

Regardless of the method of storage, it is real important to me to put the number of dies in each set on the label. I check at the end of a project to make sure I have the right number on the magnetic sheet.

I enjoyed revisiting your craft loft. It just goes to show that we all have unique spaces to craft and organize.

Great idea to use the Envelope punch board to shape the divider.

Cindy McCool

Great video, but I just about freaked when you mentioned "Cindy". Because based on our recent conversations I thought is it me? But then I remember you have another friend named Cindy and of course you haven't been to my studio. I know I referred you to a web sight or two and I can see the results here! Good for you! Sometimes I wonder if I like to organize more than I do stamp (not! but close). I'll send you an email with pictures of how mine are stored. You are spot on that the boxes get really heavy. I consider it part of my workout routine. LOL!

Wonderful ideas Patty! In Part One and now Part Two you mention that the poly folders from Staples, work well, and you cut them to fit. What do you use to cut them? I didn't want to ruin or break my tool trying. Thanks!

Wanda Newman

I am an organization person....makes life so much easier in my stamp room. Thank you so much for sharing. Wondering if you could put a list of titles for the dividers out there for us.....that you used here for framelits and thinlits. I already have the Stampnstorage boxes and magnetic cards, but would like to do what you have done. Thanks again Patty!
