POGS?
When I was making <<<these cute
card embellishments last week, I was reminded of years ago when our son collected Pogs!! They made me smile 🙂
You can find these fun Soda Pop Tops on pg 24 in the Stampin' Up! Spring catalog, or online here.
You can create stamped artwork, or punch out any Designer Paper center for these soda pop tops (1" circle punch for the large pop top, and 1/2" circle punch for the small pop tops), but what I decided to try was some printed circles in
My Digital Studio!
Here is a quick VIDEO TUTORIAL
for you for creating these embellishments:
(if you are reading this in an email you will need to VISIT MY BLOG to view the VIDEO)
UPDATE… click here to view the How To Video to make the MDS inserts.
Here are the finished samples I created on the video:
Don't these make cute embellishments?
I layered them onto die cut tags from the Apothecary Accents framelits package.

Too funny you should mention pogs. I think I still have a few around my home that my grandsons used to collect. Love those cards!

Awesome cards! I would love to see a video on making these as I am totally lost with MDS. Thanks so much!
very vintage…LOVE THEM!! yes.. I would like to see how you created the pop top inserts.
Love these cards. When I first started seeing the bottle caps I must admit I was not impressed with them. But now seeing your video I want to give them a try. And yes please make a video with the MDS. I just received it for Christmas and I am still trying to figure it out.
Thanks
Karol
Super cute! I’d love to see a video of the MDS instructions – I’m still getting my feet wet with MDS and could use a bit more direction. Thanks!
I’m really enjoying your videos, so another 1 will make my day, especially w/the soda pop tops; I LOVE any & all of your videos, so keep them coming!!! THANKS, too!!
Loved the video on the soda pop top thank you cards. You said if we would like you to make a video on how you did the MDS version to leave you a comment. I love anything I can learn using my MDS. I have watched several of your You Tube videos and have really enjoyed them as well as learned from them. Thank you so much for sharing your love of stamps and MDS with us.
I would love to see the video. One of my big issues with MDS is that I don’t know how to fill a page with duplicates. I also can’t figure out how to set the page so that there aren’t such big margins on each side. I am loosing lots of paper space.
I would love a video on how to make the MDS version! You are the best…thank you! kt
Patty I would be so appreciative if you did a video on how to make the inserts for the bottle caps.

Yes, Patty I’d love to see the video. Did you print that out on your printer?

Yes, please do a video actually using MDS.
Thanks for the great idea – using MDS to create the centers for the bottle caps. I would love to see a video on how you designed those in MDS, too.
Love this look and technique so much! Please do a video on how to do the inserts in MDS….I’m a new user and I’m lost! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful idea!
Thank you for this wonderful video…I missed your first one showing how to run the caps through the Big Shit…this will be fun to do!
super
