WELCOME to the July 2011 Control Freaks Blog Tour !!!

We are showcasing the cards we swapped with each other at Convention at our annual lunchtime swap.

Last week I gathered with my fellow Control Freak demonstrator friends to swap cards at the Stampin' Up! Convention.  They are VERY TALENTED gals and I am blessed to count them among my friends!

Below are the 2 cards I swapped with them at our annual lunch time convention swap.  Both are My Digital Studio Hybrid cards.

ABOVE: I used a piece of designer paper from the BEYOND THE GARDEN package (pg 185, #122342) on the top (the yellow and white flowered paper) and I made my own flowered paper for the bottom portion on My Digital Studio.  I layered them onto a Lucky Limeade folded card and added Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon (pg 194, #122977).  I stamped the 'THANKS FOR BEING A FRIEND' sentiment (from Happy Greetings, pg 26 Summer Mini) in Poppy Parade ink onto a die cut doily from the PERFECT PENNANTS die (pg 221, #123126).  I made the Fabulous Florets flowers in My Digital Studio, also, and YES I PROMISE Iam making a video tutorial for this .. my to-do list is just so long you can't believe it (I actually have about 5 to-do lists).  🙂  The leaves are stamped in Lucky LImeade on Lucky Limeade cardstock with the Build a Blossom set (pg 112, #121923 or 121994).
