I have been making dozens of lovely cards using MY DIGITAL STUDIO and the new Summertime Splendor DSP download... what GORGEOUS PAPER!! oh my gosh!!

This download is available ONLINE on my website and the item code is: 121067.  View ALL THE AVAILABLE DOWLOADS here.

Here are some of the cards I've been making:

5x5 cards

Summer splendor 2

Summer splendor 4

Summer splendor 6

Summer splendor 7

I printed these on my Epson R1900 printer with Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and they did well.  I have also had hundreds of cards printed through the Stampin' Up! printing service.  Either way works great.

And here is a video tutorial to help you with resizing the 12x12 Summertime Splendor DSP to use on your cardfronts in MY DIGITAL STUDIO:

Your work is simply beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to make MDS interesting and even more fun than I thought it could be! I adore your blog, projects, and the kindness you use with your posts. You are an inspiration!

Michelle

Thank you so much!!! I have been enjoying these papers but am still learning. You make everything so easy to learn and gorgeous. I appreciate it!

Susan

Stampin Up should hire you to do tutorials on MDS for the SU web site. You are the best and have a way of making something that seems difficult, so easy! Thanks

Susan

Patty, thanks SO much for your awesome video tutorials! I agree that SU should hire you to do ALL their MDS tutorials! You're the best! I just need to dive in and DO IT, and you make it look do-able!!

Do you know when SU is going to put your most recent MDS webinar up on the website? I'm working on my MDS certification and I LOVE your videos!

THANK YOU PATTY!.... I spent some time last night trying to figure this out, my hubby even was helping. We almost had it then here you are this morning! YOU ARE THE BEST!

Diane Noble

Thanks Patty for a great tutorial. I immediately tried it and everything looks exactly like yours but mine printed much smaller. Used 8-1/2 x 11 paper, did four photo boxes, no bleed area checked. Went about as far on the edge as yours shows, but my printed pieces came out to be about 2-3/4 by 4 rather than 4 x 5-1/4....hmmmmm, any clues on my printing error? Great tutorial. Love the cards...they are gorgeous!

WOW! Patty thank you sooooo much for this tutorial....I just downloaded the paper last week and I finally decided to give it a shot....after some trial and error, thanks to your tutorial.....mine did want Diane Noble said her did and I found that I had to go into the page set up and change my border edge measurements...I changed to zero, but apparently it won't allow that and it auto adjusted to 0.117, so I have a little white border all the way around, but that is trimmable. Thanks for the great tutorial, otherwise I would have never figured it out.

Thanks so much for the wonderful tutorial Patty. I was planning on trying something much more complicated. Your way makes so much sense. Now I am off to create cards with these beautiful backgrounds!

Patty, when you make these cards, do you have them professionally printed by SU! or do you print them on your computer? Thanks so much for all of your inspiring work! I appreciate it SO much!

Than you for the lesson. I did make some cards also. What fun. I added a mat to the cards to that I didn't have to mat them later and could also make the color. I love the Happy Birthday that you used, what set did that come from, I have a few but need to get more.

Hi Patty,

When I followed the instructions, mine card fronts were too small as well. Am I missing something? :)
Thanks!

Cynthia

Guess I'm really late in finding this but I'm glad I did - I LOVE IT!! Thank you Patty for this wonderful video, I love Summertime Splendor! How often do you post videos for My Digital Studio? Love what you do and want to learn more. :-)

dolly
