DSC07457 copy I was making a card for a swap and I had to use the new hostess set called Kind and Caring Thoughts… I got the vision of the stems coming out of a pot… so… I needed a pot…

Here is the finished card:

I used the new Dusty Durango cardstock for the pot and the matching Dusty Durango polkadot ribbon.  I also used the Dusty Durango MARKER (Whooohoooo – In Color Markers!) and an old olive marker to ink the stamp.  The greeting is also from that hostess set, stamped in Soft Suede, and is punched out with the new "Modern Label" punch.  The stems are stamped on Sahara Sand and mounted on Soft Suede.

OK>> Now.. how to make the pot:

Fold scalloped flap down and you have a cute pot!

The pot has a neat speckled/stippled finish from the brayering.. makes it look like terra cotta!

After I made all the swaps, I made one stamped on Whisper White and I really like it on white too!
